OUR STORY

Flip through a little
piece of our history.

From a leap of faith to a roadside stall, then a little place of our own — every chapter brought Nyonya Secrets a little closer to home.

A little food. A little courage.
And plenty of memories along the way.

FROM BOARDROOMS TO RECIPES

A leap of faith.

Before Nyonya Secrets became our everyday life, we came from the corporate world. Trading boardrooms for recipes was a leap of faith — one that brought us back to food, family and the flavours we wanted to keep close.

ROADSIDE BEGINNINGS

It started under a simple canopy.

Before the shophouse and the big menu, there was a small roadside counter, trays of kuih and the hope that someone might stop by for a taste.

Then came a place to sit.

The roadside beginning grew into our first proper stall at Obscure Café — still simple, still very much us, but now with tables, chairs and a place for people to stay awhile.

A NEW CHAPTER

Our little home in old Melaka.

Nyonya Secrets found its home on Jalan Munshi Abdullah — an old Melaka shophouse that felt right for the food, the memories and the welcome we wanted to share.

A STORY WORTH SHARING

From the web to the printed page.

Our little story began travelling beyond our tables too — shared online and in print. A lovely reminder of how far those early days had carried us.
